7 things to check before you buy
- Screen of 10 inches or more. Physics diagrams, organic chemistry structures and long PDFs are hard to read on a phone. An IPS, anti-glare screen is easier on the eyes.
- Battery for a full day. Lectures plus self-study need 8 hours or more. Ask for the hours of use, not only the mAh number.
- 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. This runs video lectures and PDFs smoothly. A memory card slot gives space for two years of notes.
- A SIM slot with 4G. Tests and live classes should not stop when the home Wi-Fi is down.
- Locks on distractions. This is the point most buyers miss. Two years is a long time, and one reel becomes one hour very easily.
